Bad news.
Due to illness in the band we have had to cancel all gigs and our upcoming studio work.
Half a dozen originals ready to go. All in limbo. Wish us luck.
Adam
Welcome. We are a blues trio based in Melbourne. We combine a range of backgrounds.
Tim, guitarist and singer, has major interests in acoustic blues and a background in the Melbourne originals live scene. Paul, drummer, is a professional musician with a wide range of experience, including jazz. Adam started off in electric blues and his since moved into jazz, working with singers in various formats.
We combine to add a wide range to the blues fundamentals Tim expresses, at times with a almost jazz feel and at times with the simple truths that blues offers.
We are starting to be told that BxB takes 'Classic' blues into something, else, perhaps 'Blues Fusion', since we are adding jazz and improv feels to the blues classics, using the classical songs as our starting-off point. Come to a gig and see what you think.
It has also been called 'Cauldron' music, as the energies coming from each of us can give the impression of a cauldron ...
